Job summary

Kamnath Fabrication in India is seeking a Project Planner to lead planning, monitoring and coordination of projects from engineering and procurement through fabrication, dispatch and erection.

The role collaborates with Design, Procurement, Production, QA/QC, Logistics, Site and Commercial teams to keep projects on schedule and spot delays early.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain project execution schedules and project plans.
• Track planned vs. actual progress across engineering, procurement, fabrication, inspection, painting, dispatch and erection.
• Prepare weekly and monthly production and project plans.
• Coordinate with Production to achieve planned fabrication targets.
• Track material requirements, procurement and material availability.
• Coordinate with Design for timely release of fabrication/shop drawings.
• Monitor drawing revisions, approvals and engineering-related delays.
• Coordinate fabrication and dispatch schedules with site/erection requirements.
• Identify project bottlenecks and recovery plans.
• Prepare project dashboards, MIS reports and recovery plans.
• Maintain clear visibility of project status across multiple ongoing projects.

About the Role

We are looking for a Project Planner to join our Fabrication Division and take responsibility for planning, monitoring and coordinating project execution from engineering and procurement through fabrication, dispatch and erection.

The role will work closely with Design, Procurement, Production, QA/QC, Logistics, Site and Commercial teams to ensure projects remain on schedule and potential delays are identified early.
