Responsibilities

• Manage volume hiring: Source, screen, and recruit warehouse associates, pickers, packers, loaders, and forklift operators.
• Onboarding: Conduct induction programs, safety briefings, and ensure all new hires complete compliance paperwork.
• Contractor management: Oversee onboarding, attendance tracking, and compliance of third-party or temporary workers.
• Attendance & payroll administration: Time tracking, attendance records, and payroll processing.
• Benefits admin: Administer health insurance, PF, ESI, and other statutory benefits.
• Grievance resolution: Address employee concerns and mediate disputes fairly.
• Engagement: Develop initiatives to boost morale and retention in physically demanding roles.
• Performance management: Facilitate appraisals and coordinate with floor managers.
• Compliance & safety: Ensure adherence to labor laws, safety protocols, and training

Role & responsibilities

• Manage volume hiring: Source, screen, and recruit warehouse associates, pickers, packers, loaders, and forklift operators.
• Onboarding: Conduct induction programs, safety briefings, and ensure all new hires complete necessary compliance paperwork.
• Contractor Management: Oversee the onboarding, attendance tracking, and compliance of third-party or temporary agency workers.

Attendance & Payroll Administration

• Time Tracking: Monitor shift logs, attendance records, and leave management systems for shift-based workers.
• Payroll Processing: Verify and validate attendance data to ensure accurate and timely monthly or bi-weekly salary processing.

• Benefits Admin: Administer health insurance, PF (Provident Fund), ESI (Employees' State Insurance), and other statutory benefits.

Employee Relations & Retention

• Grievance Resolution: Address employee concerns, mediate disputes, and manage disciplinary actions fairly and consistently.
• Engagement: Develop and implement initiatives to boost morale, reduce turnover, and improve retention in physically demanding roles.
• Performance Management: Facilitate performance appraisals and set productivity benchmarks in coordination with warehouse floor managers

Compliance & Safety

• Labor Laws: Ensure the facility adheres to state and national labor regulations, wage laws, and working hour restrictions.
• Safety & Training: Collaborate with safety officers to ensure all staff adhere to PPE, material handling, and emergency protocols

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: MBA in Human Resources,
• Experience: 8+ years in HR, preferably in manufacturing, logistics, or a blue-collar/shift-heavy environment.
• Skills: Strong proficiency in HRMS/HRIS systems, excellent conflict resolution, Industrial Relationship knowledge ,Grievance Handling, Handled Blue Collar Workers and solid knowledge of local labor legislation
