Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute monthly and quarterly employee engagement initiatives.
  • Organize employee recognition programs, rewards, celebrations, festival events, birthdays, work anniversaries, sports activities, employees day initiatives.
  • Conduct regular employee connect sessions, skip-level meetings, and shop-floor interactions to understand employee concerns and improve communication.
  • Carry out employee satisfaction surveys and prepare action plans based on feedback.
  • Promote company values and strengthen organizational culture across all departments.
  • Drive employee communication through notice boards, digital communication, and awareness campaigns.
  • Build strong relationships with employees at all levels and serve as a trusted HR partner.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of company-provided Blue Collar Employees accommodation/hostel facilities.
  • Ensure safe, hygienic, and well-maintained living conditions in compliance with company standards.
  • Coordinate room allocation, occupancy records, and accommodation planning for new joiners and existing blue collar employees
  • Conduct regular inspections of accommodation facilities to ensure cleanliness, safety, and discipline.
  • Address accommodation-related Blue Collar Employees' concerns and ensure timely resolution.
  • Handle employee grievances promptly and ensure timely resolution.
  • Conduct disciplinary investigations and support corrective actions in line with company policies.
  • Counsel employees and managers on workplace issues and conflict resolution.
  • Support performance improvement discussions and employee retention initiatives.
  • Maintain healthy industrial relations and ensure a positive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and coordinate with external consultants during inspections and audits.
  • Maintain statutory registers, licenses, records, and compliance documentation.

Statutory Compliance & Labor Law
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, including the Factories Act, Industrial Relations Code, Minimum Wages, Payment of Wages, Payment of Bonus, EPF, ESI, Gratuity, Contract Blue Collar Employees regulations, and other statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate with external consultants and government authorities during inspections and audits.
  • Maintain statutory registers, licenses, records, and compliance documentation.
  • Ensure timely submission of statutory returns and renewals.
  • Monitor contractor compliance, including statutory documentation, attendance, wage payments, and legal obligations.
  • Support internal and external compliance audits and implement corrective actions.
HR Operations
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for factory manpower, including operators, technicians, supervisors, and staff.
  • Coordinate onboarding, induction, and employee documentation.
  • Maintain employee personnel files and HRMS records.
  • Monitor attendance, shift schedules, leave, overtime, and coordinate payroll inputs.
  • Ensure timely confirmation, transfers, promotions, and exit formalities.

Employee Welfare
  • Oversee employee welfare initiatives, including canteen, transportation, uniforms, lockers, housekeeping, and medical facilities.
  • Coordinate health camps, wellness programs, and CSR initiatives.Ensure a safe, healthy, and inclusive work environment.
  • Administration
HR Analytics & Reporting
  • Prepare monthly HR dashboards covering:
    • Headcount
    • Attrition
    • Absenteeism
    • Recruitment status
    • Employee engagement activities
    • Grievance resolution
Preferred candidate profile
  • 3-6 years of HR experience in a manufacturing or factory environment.
  • Experience in employee engagement, statutory compliance, employee relations, and shop-floor HR operations is preferred.
