Job summary

Ig3 Infra in Karnataka's Mysuru region is seeking an experienced Project Engineer Construction to lead on-site execution at the Kabini project site. You will coordinate civil, structural, architectural, MEP, and finishing works, review drawings, and ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery.

The role requires 10+ years in construction, preferably with hotel/hospitality projects, and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Engineering.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in construction project execution.
• Experience in hotel, resort, hospitality, commercial, or large-scale building projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise day-to-day construction activities at the project site.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and internal teams.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, BOQs, and technical documents.
• Ensure construction work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of activities.
• Coordinate civil, structural, architectural, MEP, and finishing works.
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify construction issues, deviations, and delays.
• Ensure proper manpower, materials, tools, and equipment are available as per project requirements.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Prepare and review daily/weekly progress reports and maintain project documentation.
• Identify project risks and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, statutory requirements, and site safety standards.
• Coordinate with procurement and stores teams for timely availability of materials.
• Assist in quantity verification, measurement, certification, and contractor bill verification.
• Participate in project review meetings and provide regular updates to management.
• Support snagging, rectification, completion, and final handover of the project.

Role Overview

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 10+ years of relevant experience in construction project execution.
• Experience in hotel, resort, hospitality, commercial, or large-scale building projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project coordination, quality control, and site execution.
• Ability to manage multiple contractors and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Good knowledge of construction drawings, BOQ, estimation, and project documentation.
• Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Willingness to work at the Kabini project site.
