Job summary

Royal Orchid & Regenta Hotels is seeking a seasoned Project Head for South India to lead hotel construction, renovation, and fit-out projects from Bangalore. You will drive end-to-end execution, coordinate Civil, MEP and Interior teams, review drawings and BOQs, and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets and safety standards.

The role requires hands-on experience in all three domains, strong stakeholder management and willingness to travel extensively across South India.

Position: Project Head South

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Head South to lead and manage hotel construction, development, renovation, and fit‑out projects across South India. The ideal candidate must have strong hands‑on experience in all three areas: MEP, Civil, and Interiors, along with prior experience in the hotel/hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end hotel project execution, including new developments, renovations, and refurbishments.
• Oversee and manage Civil works, including structural, finishing, and renovation activities.
• Lead and coordinate MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) works, ensuring proper design coordination, execution, testing, and commissioning.
• Oversee Interior fit‑out works, including guest rooms, public areas, back‑of‑house areas, furniture, fixtures, and finishes.
• Ensure seamless coordination between MEP, Civil, and Interior teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review project drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and execution plans.
• Develop and monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, designers, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress, quality, and compliance with approved designs.
• Ensure projects are completed within approved timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Monitor project costs and control budget variations.
• Manage contractors and vendors and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Resolve technical and execution‑related issues across MEP, Civil, and Interior works.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory requirements, and company guidelines.
• Provide regular project progress and status reports to senior management.
• Ensure smooth project completion, testing, commissioning, and final handover.

Candidate Requirements & Mandatory Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Mandatory experience in the hotel/hospitality industry.
• Strong experience in managing hotel construction, renovation, and fit‑out projects.
• Hands‑on experience in all three domains is mandatory: MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing), Civil Construction & Finishing Works, and Interior Fit‑outs & Finishes.
• Strong coordination skills are mandatory to effectively manage multiple teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills are mandatory, both verbal and written.
• Good computer skills are mandatory, including proficiency in MS Office and project-related tools.

Willingness to travel extensively across South India is mandatory.

Experience in managing projects from planning and design coordination through execution and final handover.
