Shravanthi Group in Bengaluru seeks a Project Design Co-Ordinator to coordinate with architects and consultants, review drawings, and support project execution from concept to completion.
The role requires 7+ years in construction/real estate and a Civil Engineering degree, with proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for design coordination.
The Project Design Co-Ordinator is responsible for Co-Ordination with architects and Consultants and Actively Function on designed drawing study, Pointing on corrections if any, revision on final drawings then issue of GFCS for project execution and coordinating engineering aspects of construction. This role ensures that all designs are technically sound, cost-effective, and compliant with regulatory standards while supporting seamless project execution from concept to completion.
1. Design & Engineering:
Prepare and review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
Ensure designs meet project specifications, safety standards, and local regulations.
Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and MEP consultants.
Perform design validations and resolve technical discrepancies.
2. Project Coordination:
Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and contractors.
Provide technical support during construction and execution stages.
Review shop drawings and ensure alignment with approved designs.
Monitor project progress and address design-related challenges.
3. Approvals & Compliance:
Ensure adherence to building codes, zoning regulations, and statutory requirements.
4. Quality Assurance:
Conduct site inspections to ensure work is executed as per design.
Maintain quality standards and recommend improvements where required.
5. Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain detailed records of drawings, revisions, and technical documents.
6. Cost Optimization (Value Engineering):
Suggest cost-effective design solutions without compromising quality.
Assist in budgeting and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software
Strong understanding of construction methods and real estate development
Knowledge of structural, architectural, and MEP coordination
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
7+ years of experience in construction and real estate projects
Experience in residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments
Familiarity with local building regulations and approval processes
