Job summary

Designtree Service Consultants in Bangalore seeks a Design Manager to coordinate architectural, structural, and MEPF design activities, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and compliance with codes and quality standards.

You will lead design reviews, manage multiple consultants, and drive value engineering with experience in residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Master’s degree is an added advantage.
• 0–10 years of experience in design coordination and project management.
• Experience in residential, commercial, mixed-use, hospitality, or infrastructure projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate architectural, structural, and MEPF design activities.
• Review and monitor design deliverables, drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Ensure design compliance with project brief, statutory regulations, and client requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and site teams for design integration.
• Monitor design schedules and ensure timely submission of drawings and documents.
• Conduct design review meetings and track closure of comments and observations.
• Ensure interdisciplinary coordination between architecture, structure, faade, landscape, and MEPF services.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical proposals.
• Identify design risks, clashes, and constructability issues during design development stages.
• Support project execution teams with technical clarifications and approvals.
• Maintain documentation and records of design revisions and approvals.
• Ensure value engineering and optimization opportunities are incorporated where applicable.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, MS Project, and BIM coordination tools.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple consultants and fast-track project timelines.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
