Job summary

PREM TEXTILES in Bengaluru seeks an experienced BIM/Architectural Engineer to lead design and coordination using Revit, AutoCAD, 3ds Max and Lumion. You will oversee drawings from concept to detail and ensure compliance with codes and budgets.

The role involves supervising teams, preparing BOQ, budgets, schedules, and liaising with clients and site teams to deliver projects on time.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of structural design, analysis, and material optimization.
• Experience in supervising residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
• Proficient in vendor negotiations, contracts, and procurement management.
• Ensures compliance with industry standards, codes, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and oversee architectural drawings, 3D visualizations, and plans from scratch.
• Provide support for site teams with design clarifications and site visits.
• Develop BIM models using Revit up to LOD 500 for projects.
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Present project progress updates to senior managers/clients.

• Preparing/ overseeing Architectural Drawings, Presentation Drawings, Conceptual drawings, planning drawings, Working drawings, GFC drawings, 3D visualization, Simulations & Animations exterior and interior work from scratch as per requirements.
• Conversant with the local building byelaws, regulations and NBC.
• Good working knowledge and provide support in preparation of MEP services, BOQ, Interior and tender drawings.
• Provide support to Site Teams for any design related clarifications; Conduct site visits to monitor progress.
• Develop and manage detailed Building Information models using Revit for architectural and structural projects up to LOD 500.
• Managing the planning and design stages of civil engineering projects.
• Overseeing all project stages from preliminary layouts to final engineering designs.
• Surveying old/ new construction sites and assessing existing structures for upgrades.
• Designing and recommending improvements to computer-aided design (CAD) software drawings and schematics.
• Performing cost estimations and preparing project budgets.
• Preparing work schedules and allocating resources, as well as supervising junior engineers, designers, construction managers, workers, technicians, and contractors.
• Ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Inspecting completed projects for compliance with industry codes, specifications, and safety standards.
• Documenting processes and presenting project progress updates to senior managers/ clients.
