Job summary

APICES Studio in Thane, India seeks a Project Architect with 8–15 years of experience to lead design from concept to construction documents, ensuring client requirements and design vision are realized.

You will coordinate with MEP and structural consultants, review drawings, ensure code compliance, mentor junior staff, and manage multiple projects to meet deadlines.

Must hold Bachelor's or Master's in Architecture and strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, SketchUp, and related tools.

Job Description –

Project Design & Development

• Lead the design process from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with client requirements and design vision.
• Review and approve detailed architectural drawings (working and municipal), construction documents, and details.drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and zoning laws.
• Provide creative input on design solutions, space planning, and material selection.
• Ensure design consistency, accuracy, and quality across all deliverables throughout the various project phases

Project Coordination & Management

• Collaborate and coordinate with Project Heads, Team Leaders, and consultants (MEP, structural, and other ) to integratework into the overall design and ensure project goals and deliverables are aligned.
• Participate in design reviews, client meetings, and presentations and address client feedback.
• Manage project documentation, including design drawings, GFC’s, client feedback and change orders.
• Develop and adhere to project schedules. Identify potential delays and proactively implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with internal teams and consultants to meet deadlines for drawings, presentations, and documentation.

Technical Expertise & Quality Control

• Conduct periodic site visits to monitor construction progress, its adherence to quality standards, project specifications. Provide design clarifications.
• Identify and resolve technical issues during the design and construction phases.
• Mentor and guide Junior and Senior Architects, providing technical support and design direction.
• Prioritize and distribute work among team members based on their skill sets, strengths, and areas of improvement to ensure optimal team performance and project efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline project execution.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

• Engage with clients to understand their needs and ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Present design concepts and updates to clients and project stakeholders.
• Manage client expectations regarding design quality, timelines, and deliverables.

Progress Tracking & Reporting

• Monitor the status of project deliverables and ensure they align with the overall schedule.
• Provide regular updates to the Team Leader on deliverable progress and any scheduling risks.
