Qualifications

• 5 - Years of bachelor's degree in architecture or other equivalent education is a must.
• A minimum of 8-10 years of architectural design, production, and technical experience.
• Prior experience with global Retail, F&B projects is preferred.

This is a full‑time role for a Project Architect in the Mumbai office, tasked with overseeing Retail documentation projects. Responsibilities include leading project teams, ensuring quality assurance and quality control processes are implemented, independently handling projects, creating architectural drawings, designing retail store layouts, producing construction documentation drawings, coordinating with other design disciplines for multiple prestigious commercial, Retail, F&B projects across the globe.

• Responsible for preparing a complete set of architectural documents and collaborating with the production team in all aspects of the preparation of construction documents including QA/ QC process.
• Develops solutions to technical and design problems following established standards.
• Provide technical support and project communication to the Junior team as required. Act as point of contact for all technical issues.
• Coordinate with Architectural Professionals on project to assure continuity & consistency of documentation including organization, coordination, thoroughness, and accuracy of all documents in the drawing set & timely completion of deliverables.
• Coordinate work of clients & consultants with architectural documents. Oversee programs to ensure activities are carried out in accordance with established specifications, schedules, and budgets.
• Interface with clients, lead program reviews and assess technical progress for programs.
• Direct determination of scope, complexity and scheduling requirements of Projects.
• Lead by example; influences without having to use authority.
• Build self-esteem of others, giving positive feedback and indications of ability to succeed.
• Demonstrate confidence and trust in other people’s abilities.

Skills & Expertise

• Strong knowledge of design trends, construction methodology and material application and architectural building systems
• Advanced knowledge of QA/QC process.
• Advanced knowledge of building codes and ability to research and apply/incorporate into technical documents.
• Demonstrates proficient skills in AutoCAD / Revit, with an advanced level of expertise.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a must.
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch up, and InDesign graphic software preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deliver to tight deadlines.
• Ability to be proactive, to use initiative and to work autonomously.
• Good awareness of design trends, creative thinking with a high degree of flexibility and excellent attention to detail.
• Problem-solving skills and dedicated to own learning and development.
• Better than average written and spoken communication skills.
• Persuasive with details and facts.
