Job summary

APICES Studio, an award-winning architecture design studio with 20+ years of experience, invites a Junior Architect to join our Thane office. You will contribute to IT parks, data centers, commercial and residential projects, supporting design development and documentation.

You will assist in drafting, preparing detailed drawings, coordinating with MEP and structural teams, and conducting site visits to ensure design intent and quality on project sites. Excellent learning opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• 0-5 years of experience in architectural design or internship experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, SketchUp, D5 Render, Enscape, Lumion, and other design visualization tools; MS Word and Adobe Suite.
• Basic knowledge of building codes, standards, and construction practices.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full architectural design process, from plan to completion, ensuring quality and compliance. Produce and review detailed drawings.
• Under the guidance of Senior Architects, prepare detailed working drawings, plans, and technical details adhering to project standards and respective DCR.
• Assist in producing construction documents and preparing site reports; formatting and printing of drawing sheets.
• Collaborate and coordinate with internal architectural team and external consultants (MEP, Structural etc.) to align on design intent and project goals; coordinate for timely completion of planned activities.
• Conduct periodic site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
• Stay updated on architectural trends, building codes, and software advancements.
