Job summary

Anjana International Industries in New Delhi is seeking an experienced Architect to lead design through construction, ensuring aesthetic quality, code compliance, and client satisfaction.

You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, prepare drawings, renderings, and presentations, visit sites, manage schedules and budgets, and mentor junior staff. On-site or hybrid work arrangements apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
• Licensed Architect (or eligible) preferred.
• 5+ years professional experience in architectural design and project delivery.
• Proficient in CAD/BIM tools: AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino.

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptual design, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.
• Produce and review architectural drawings, plans, elevations, sections, and specifications.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and consultants.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning, accessibility, and sustainability standards.
• Prepare design proposals, renderings, 3D models, and client presentations.
• Conduct site visits, monitor construction progress, and resolve issues.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, change orders, and quality control.
• Prepare permit submissions and respond to regulatory reviews.
• Mentor junior staff and review their deliverables.
• Maintain relationships with clients, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders.

Job description

Design and oversee the planning, development, and delivery of architectural projects from concept through construction, ensuring aesthetic quality, functionality, code compliance, budget control, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead conceptual design, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.
• Produce and review architectural drawings, plans, elevations, sections, and specifications.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (structural, MEP, landscape, interior) and consultants.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning, accessibility and sustainability standards.
• Prepare and present design proposals, renderings, 3D models, and client presentations.
• Conduct site visits, monitor construction progress, and resolve design/construction issues.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, change orders, and quality control.
• Prepare permit submissions and respond to regulatory reviews.
• Mentor junior staff and review their deliverables.
• Maintain relationships with clients, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Strong graphic, presentation, and verbal/written communication skills.
• Good project management, coordination, and client-facing skills.
• Ability to travel to project sites as required.

Desirable

• Experience with sustainable design certifications.
• Experience in residential/commercial/institutional project types.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design quality and technical competency.
