Antal International is hiring a Production Support Engineer for a high-volume payment processor ecosystem in Mumbai. The role centers on L2 monitoring and proactive support to ensure fault-tolerant, low-latency processing of millions of daily transactions.

The candidate should have 4+ years in Production Support within Payments/Banking, strong Linux skills, and familiarity with Nagios and Jenkins. On-site India location in a fast-paced payments environment.

Competenze

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Production Support & IT Operations in the Payments/Banking industry.
• Hands-on experience in providing level 2 (L2) monitoring and engineering support.
• Strong experience in working on Linux based production environment.
• Be familiar with basic networking tools like Nagios, Jenkins etc.
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Shell, Python and Bash.

ABOUT THE ROLE & ORGANIZATION ECOSYSTEM:

Antal International has been mandated to hire a Production Support Engineer for a high-volume payment

processor ecosystem (aligning with platform scales similar to BillDesk, NPCI rails, and tier-1 acquiring bank switches). In

this high-impact position, you will be monitoring, handling and supporting payment platforms

processing millions of critical financial transactions daily.

You will insist on the highest engineering standards for extreme low-latency processing, distributed system fault tolerance,

strict transactional integrity, and regulatory compliance within the Indian payments landscape.

Responsibilities

The role focuses on L2 level monitoring and support for our production applications and infrastructure.

The ideal candidate should

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Production Support & IT Operations management in the Payments/Banking industry.


• Have hands-on-experience in providing level 2 ( L2 ) monitoring and engineering support.


• Have strong experience in working on Linux based production environment.


• Be familiar with basic networking tools like Nagios, Jenkins etc.


• Knowledge of transaction & system monitoring, downtime analysis, Report generation, Ticket closures. Coordinate with internal and external teams.


• Have a basic understanding of scripting languages like Shell, Python and Bash.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of strong hands-on experience


• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar


• The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
