Job summary

Indium in Hyderabad seeks an experienced IM Platform Support Engineer to join our production support team. You will handle production support for Investment Management platforms, troubleshoot market data feeds, and ensure SLAs are met in a fast-paced financial services environment.

The role requires 5+ years in IT, hands-on experience with APIs, SQL, Python, and cloud tech such as AWS/Azure, plus familiarity with data pipelines and system integrations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years IT experience with 2+ years in L2/L3 production support in a financial services setting.
• Strong understanding of Investment Management, Capital Markets and Trading domains.
• Knowledge of data engineering concepts and API management.
• Hands-on experience with Python, SQL/PLSQL and PHP.
• Database exposure including Snowflake and other RDBMS.
• Exposure to Kubernetes and cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure.
• Experience with Autosys for job scheduling.
• Basic Java knowledge for troubleshooting and log analysis.
• Familiarity with SDLC, Git/Bitbucket and test automation.
• Strong troubleshooting, incident management and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide production support for Investment Management and capital markets platforms.
• Troubleshoot investment systems and market data feeds; support analytics applications.
• Support peripheral IM platforms (Aladdin, SimCorp, Calypso, FactSet, Bloomberg).
• Analyze incidents from technical and business perspectives.
• Maintain uptime and meet SLAs for live trading environments.
• Troubleshoot API, MQ/XML and system-to-system integrations.
• Work with data pipelines, databases and cloud-based integrations.

We are looking for an experienced IM Platform Support Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad. This is a techno-functional production support role focused on Investment Management platforms, financial applications, integrations, and critical data flows.

Experience: 5+ years

Key Responsibilities

• Provide production support for Investment Management / Capital Markets / Trading platforms.
• Troubleshoot investment systems, market data feeds (Bloomberg, Reuters), portfolio accounting and analytics applications.
• Support peripheral systems integrated with IM platforms. (Example: Aladdin, SimCorp, Calypso, FactSet, Bloomberg or similar IM platforms)
• Analyze incidents from both technical and business-impact perspectives.
• Support live trade execution environments and ensure minimal downtime while meeting strict SLAs.
• Troubleshoot API-based, messaging (MQ/XML) and system-to-system data integrations.
• Work with data pipelines, databases, cloud platforms and application integrations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of IT experience, including 2+ years of L2/L3 production support in an MSP or Investment Management / Financial Services environment.
• Strong understanding of Investment Management / Capital Markets / Trading domain.
• Knowledge of data engineering concepts and API management.
