Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux operating systems.

• Ability to analyze logs, troubleshoot performance issues and resolve errors.
• Knowledge of batch scheduling and job monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira or Remedy for ticketing.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Support Engineer with strong expertise in Unix/Linux, Shell Scripting, and SQL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for application production support, incident management, troubleshooting, monitoring, and ensuring smooth operation of business-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2/Level 3 production support for applications and systems.
• Monitor application health and proactively identify potential issues.
• Troubleshoot incidents, analyze root causes, and implement permanent fixes.
• Execute and maintain Shell scripts for automation and operational tasks.
• Perform SQL queries, data validation, and database troubleshooting.
• Support application deployments, releases, and environment management activities.
• Work closely with development, infrastructure, and business teams to resolve issues.

Required Skills

Qualifications
