Job summary

Freshtohome Foods Private Limited is looking for a Production Supervisor to plan and supervise shift-wise production on the shop floor, ensuring strict adherence to recipes and process parameters for fresh fish, meat, and poultry products.

You will lead a team of 20-30 staff per shift, ensure timely packing and proper storage, and uphold food safety, hygiene, and quality standards across all operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning and shop floor supervision.
• Knowledge of food safety and quality standards (FSSAI, HACCP, GMP).
• Team leadership and performance coaching abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute shift-wise production schedules to meet daily and monthly targets.
• Supervise end-to-end production activities on the shop floor with minimal downtime.
• Be actively present on the floor and guide processing operations.
• Ensure products are made strictly to approved recipes and process parameters.
• Oversee production of fresh chilled fish, meat and poultry for consistency in quality.
• Conduct regular checks for food safety, hygiene and quality compliance.
• Lead, mentor and motivate a team of 20-30 staff per shift.
• Ensure packing follows SOPs for labeling and handling of finished goods.
• Coordinate with packing team to move finished goods to chillers/freezers on time.
• Maintain storage conditions and product traceability.
• Maintain production records and shift reports; report deviations to the Plant Head.

Team ManagementLead, supervise, and motivate a team of 20-30 production staff per shift.

Ensure staff are working as per defined standards with speed, efficiency, and discipline.

Provide on-the-job guidance, training, and corrective instructions to improve performance.

Packing & Freezing OperationsEnsure the packing section follows approved SOPs for packaging, labeling, and handling of finished products.

Coordinate with the packing team to ensure timely movement of finished goods to designated chillers or freezers.

Monitor proper storage conditions and product traceability.

Compliance & ReportingEnsure compliance with food safety standards such as FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, and internal quality protocols.

Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, wastage data, and manpower utilization reports.

Report any deviations, equipment issues, or quality concerns to the Production Manager/Plant Head
