Job summary

Hari Daya Industries is seeking a production planning and operations leader to manage daily, weekly and monthly schedules for Modular, Concealed, and Fan Boxes. You will oversee production, drive on-time targets, and optimize manpower while maintaining machine and tool maintenance.

Strong leadership and problem-solving are essential. The role requires hands-on experience in metal manufacturing, power press machinery, and Excel-based reporting.

Qualifications

• 45 years minimum experience in production, preferably in metal manufacturing.
• Experience handling factory operations and manpower.
• Engineer/Graduate with technical background preferred.
• Hands-on experience operating/managing Power Press machinery preferred.
• Ex‑Army candidates preferred, with discipline and leadership strengths.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily, weekly and monthly production schedules based on sales orders and stock requirements.
• Manage production of Modular Boxes, Concealed Boxes, and Fan Boxes.
• Monitor production output and ensure targets are achieved on time.
• Optimize manpower utilization and allocate work to operators/helpers.
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of machines, molds and tools.
• Maintain production, machine and rejection reports.
• Identify process improvements to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure safety guidelines and factory discipline.
• Handle machine breakdown situations.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Plan daily, weekly and monthly production schedules based on sales orders and stock requirements.
• Manage production of:
  • Modular Boxes
  • Concealed Boxes
  • Fan Boxes
• Monitor production output and ensure targets are achieved on time.
• Optimize manpower utilization and allocate work to operators/helpers.
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of machines, molds and tools.
• Maintain product quality and minimize rejection/wastage.
• Coordinate with Purchase/Store for raw material availability.
• Maintain production, machine and rejection reports.
• Identify process improvements to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure safety guidelines and factory discipline.
• Handle machine breakdown situations.

Skills Required

• Strong production planning & execution.
• Leadership and team-handling skills.
• Problem-solving and decision-making.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as fabrication and assembly.
• Basic computer knowledge, particularly Excel and reporting.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Practical experience with Power Press machinery is preferred.
