Job summary

Kanaka Durga Rao Akkena is seeking a decisive operations leader to own production planning, scheduling, material flow, and inventory discipline across CNC machining, HBM, sheet metal fabrication, welding, and die & mold development in Hyderabad.

You will drive lean improvements, automation, and advanced manufacturing practices to improve throughput, reduce costs, and meet quality and delivery targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning, scheduling and inventory control to meet quality, cost and delivery targets.
• Deep command over CNC machining and metal fabrication processes to drive manufacturability and cost optimization.
• Ability to review drawings, GD&T, BOMs and process sheets for manufacturability and material optimization.
• Proven track record in shop-floor leadership, lean improvements, automation, and advanced manufacturing practices.

Role & responsibilities

1.Drive production planning, scheduling, material management, and inventory control to achieve quality, cost, productivity, and on-time delivery targets.

2. Manage all in-house manufacturing facilities, including CNC machining/turning, HBM, sheet-metal fabrication, welding, and die & mold development

3. Review drawings, GD&T, BOMs, and manufacturing processes for manufacturability, cost, quality, and material optimization.

4.Lead shop-floor operations, process improvements, automation, and advanced manufacturing initiatives for higher efficiency and operational excellence.

Preferred candidate profile

The ideal candidate is a hard-driving operations expert who can take full ownership of production planning, scheduling, material flow, and inventory discipline to hit quality, cost, and delivery targets without compromise. They must bring deep command over CNC machining, HBM operations, sheetmetal fabrication, welding, and die & mold development, with the ability to run these facilities at peak efficiency.

They should be exceptionally strong in engineering interpretationcapable of dissecting drawings, GD&T, BOMs, and process sheets to eliminate manufacturability issues, reduce cost, tighten quality, and maximize material utilization. The candidate must demonstrate a relentless focus on shopfloor performance, driving lean improvements, automation, and advanced manufacturing practices that materially improve throughput, cycle times, and operational excellence.
