Saini Electrical in Maharashtra is seeking an experienced Machine Shop Production Manager to plan and schedule production, ensuring timely completion of manufacturing processes within defined targets and resources.

You will lead operators and technicians, drive continuous improvements, and ensure readiness for ISO/IRIS audits by maintaining essential documents and records. Experience with ERP/MRP and GD&T is highly valued.

Formación

• Experience in machine shop management with ISO audits (9001/14001/45001) and IRIS familiarity preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with hands-on problem solving.
• Proficiency in production planning and ERP/MRP systems, with knowledge of GD&T and metrology.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and schedule machine shop production activities to meet targets and available resources.
• Identify and resolve machine-related technical issues, breakdowns, and process inefficiencies.
• Monitor product quality through inspections to ensure customer specs and internal standards.
• Lead and supervise operators and technicians with training, support, and feedback.
• Ensure readiness for ISO/IRIS audits by maintaining SOPs, NCRs, job cards, calibration/validation certificates, and related docs.
• Conduct RCA for non-conformities and implement CAPA.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to close audit findings and non-conformities.
• Act as audit liaison and ensure availability of all required documents and records.

Role & responsibilities:

• Plan and schedule Machine Shop production activities to ensure timely completion of manufacturing processes within defined targets and resources.
• Identify and resolve technical issues related to Machine Shop machines, equipment breakdowns, and process inefficiencies.
• Monitor product quality through inspections to ensure compliance with customer specifications and internal quality standards.
• Lead and supervise operators and technicians by providing training, technical support, and performance feedback.
• Ensure Machine Shop readiness for internal and external ISO (9001, 14001, 45001, etc.) and IRIS audits by maintaining updated SOPs, NCRs, job cards, calibration/validation certificates, qualification records, and other required documents.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for identified non-conformities and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address audit findings and ensure timely closure of non-conformities.
• Act as the point of contact for auditors and facilitate audits by ensuring the availability and accuracy of all required documents, records, and evidence.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, process improvement, and quality control.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and audit requirements.
• Strong team management, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in production planning and ERP/MRP systems.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as welding, bending, rolling, machining, and tooling.
• Knowledge of GD&T and basic engineering principles.
• Proficiency in MS Office, CNC/ISO programming, Eurotherm Controllers, and tooling.
• Knowledge of metrology instruments such as Vernier, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Slip Gauge, and Trimos.
