Job summary

Ricron Panels in India is seeking a hands-on Production/Operations Manager to independently run day-to-day plant operations—machine uptime, output, quality, and shift discipline—for our sheet manufacturing unit.

The role covers planning, press operations, heater management, waste processing, cutting and sizing, maintenance, and on-floor supervision. 27–35 age range not specified; strong hands-on experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in plywood, MDF, particleboard, laminate, plastics manufacturing, or similar panel/sheet manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with hydraulic hot/cold press operations.
• Experience managing shop-floor teams and shift operations.

Responsibilities

• Run daily production planning and shift scheduling to meet monthly output targets.
• Operate and oversee the hydraulic hot & cold press process end-to-end.
• Manage the wood-fuel heater operation safely and efficiently.
• Supervise grinding/shredding of plastic waste into chips, ensuring correct size and feed quality.
• Oversee automatic DD saw and beam saw operations for sheet cutting and sizing.
• Ensure consistent sheet thickness, finish, and quality; minimize rejection/wastage.
• Own preventive and breakdown maintenance for all plant machinery; plan maintenance schedules and coordinate with technicians/vendors as needed.
• Track and reduce machine downtime.
• Supervise and manage plant workers/machine operators on the shop floor.
• Maintain basic production records (output logs, downtime logs, material consumption).
• Flag any safety, quality, or maintenance issues to management promptly.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience in plywood, MDF, particleboard, laminate, plastics manufacturing, or similar panel/sheet manufacturing
• Direct hands‑on experience with hydraulic hot/cold press operations
• Experience managing shop‑floor teams and shift operations
• Hands‑on experience with equipment maintenance planning (preventive and breakdown) in a manufacturing setup
• Familiarity with cutting/sizing machinery (DD saw, beam saw) is a strong plus
• Age: 27–35 years
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of plant output without close technical supervision from management
