Job summary

Wooden Street in India seeks a production leader to drive daily operations, coordinate with PPC, procurement, warehouse, logistics and maintenance, and oversee CNC, Panel Saw, Edge Banding, Drilling, Assembly, Packaging and Dispatch.

The role requires engineering education in mechanical/production, MBA preferred, and knowledge of Lean, 5S, Six Sigma. You will manage shift planning, material availability, and safety practices while improving OEE and reducing wastage.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech./Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering.
• MBA (Operations) preferred.
• Lean Manufacturing / 5S / Six Sigma certification is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations and ensure targets are achieved.
• Execute production plans with PPC, Procurement, Warehouse, Logistics, and Maintenance.
• Manage CNC, Panel Saw, Edge Banding, Drilling, Assembly, Packaging and Dispatch.
• Monitor manpower deployment, shift planning, machine utilization, and efficiency.
• Ensure material availability, inventory accuracy, BOM adherence, and wastage control.
• Drive quality compliance, RCA, CAPA, and reduce rework and rejections.
• Lead supervisors, operators, contractors, and shop floor teams.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, TPM and OEE improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with vendors and cross-functional teams for seamless manufacturing.
• Prepare Daily/Weekly/Monthly Production MIS through ERP/SAP.
• Ensure HSE compliance, PPE adherence, and safe working practices.
