Job summary

Confidential seeks an experienced Production Manager to oversee production planning, PPC, manpower utilization, and shop-floor operations. The role focuses on meeting production targets while maintaining quality, cost efficiency, and timely deliveries.

You will coordinate with purchasing, maintenance and quality teams, drive process improvements, manage budgets, and implement cost-saving initiatives. 10+ years in manufacturing with exposure to rubber or automotive components preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and finalize daily production and machine loading plans using SAP/ERP.
• Manage manpower and material costs in line with budgets.
• Prepare daily compound/material planning based on customer orders.
• Monitor production activities and achieve daily/monthly targets.
• Coordinate with Packing, Dispatch, Sales, Maintenance, and Purchase teams.
• Prepare and execute daily dispatch plans and participate in ADP meetings.
• Monitor customer order trends and maintain Minimum Stock Level (MSL).
• Ensure timely sampling and support customer audits and shop-floor visits.
• Follow up on timely delivery of outsourced parts.
• Troubleshoot production issues, control rejections, and minimize wastage.
• Review production parameters and drive process improvements.
• Initiate cost-saving and cycle-time reduction projects.
• Plan preventive maintenance with Maintenance team to minimize downtime.
• Review manpower planning including contract workers for smooth production.
• Conduct regular production reviews and address quality issues.
• Assign responsibilities and guide day-to-day activities.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, quality standards, and IATF documentation.

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to manage production planning, PPC, manpower and material utilization, dispatch planning, process improvement, and shop-floor operations. The candidate will be responsible for achieving production targets while maintaining quality, cost efficiency, and timely customer deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and finalize daily production and machine loading plans using SAP/ERP.
• Manage manpower and material costs in line with approved budgets.
• Prepare daily compound/material planning based on customer orders.
• Monitor production activities and ensure achievement of daily/monthly targets.
• Coordinate with Packing, Dispatch, Sales, Maintenance, and Purchase teams for smooth operations.
• Prepare and execute daily dispatch plans and participate in Advance Dispatch Planning (ADP) meetings.
• Monitor customer order trends and maintain required MSL (Minimum Stock Level).

Required Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Production Management and PPC.
• Knowledge of machine parameters, manufacturing defects, production cycle time, and corrective actions.
• Expertise in production planning, machine loading, and dispatch planning.
• Understanding of quality parameters and customer requirements.
• Knowledge of IATF documentation and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in SAP/ERP and MS Office.
• Experience in process improvement, rejection control, and cost reduction.
