Job summary

Vidhaatri Technologies in Bengaluru seeks a seasoned Production Head to oversee the entire production department. You will plan, organize, and monitor daily activities to meet targets, while driving productivity, quality, and cost efficiency on the shop floor. The role requires hands-on fabrication, welding, machining, and assembly expertise, plus strong leadership and ERP/MRP skills.

A Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory, with 10–15 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in production/manufacturing with mandatory exposure to Material Handling Equipment or industrial equipment manufacturing.
• Hands-on fabrication, welding, machining, and assembly experience.
• Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and lean manufacturing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the complete production department to meet targets.
• Plan, organize, and monitor daily production activities for schedule adherence.
• Improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency across shop floor.
• Manage manpower planning, production scheduling, and machine utilization.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Design, Quality, and Stores departments.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure safety standards and company policies are followed.
• Reduce downtime and improve operational efficiency.
• Monitor KPIs such as productivity, rejection rate, OEE, and on-time delivery.

Preferred candidate profile :

• 10-15 years' experience in production/manufacturing, with mandatory exposure to Material Handling Equipment or Industrial Equipment manufacturing
• Strong hands-on experience in fabrication, welding, machining, and assembly
• Proven expertise in production planning, scheduling, and manpower management
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Knowledge of RCA, CAPA, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma is an added advantage
• Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering required
