Job summary

Krysalis Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced production operations professional to plan and execute daily production activities and coordinate cross-functional teams. The role focuses on maintaining quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery on the shop floor.

You will ensure optimal use of manpower, machines, and materials, maintain records, and drive continuous process improvements, including Lean and 5S initiatives.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 13 years of experience in production or manufacturing operations (freshers with relevant knowledge may be considered).
• Knowledge of production planning and manufacturing processes.
• Basic understanding of quality systems and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily production activities according to the production schedule.
• Monitor production processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and timely delivery.
• Coordinate with production, stores, quality, and maintenance teams for smooth operations.
• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.
• Maintain production records, reports, and documentation accurately.
• Monitor raw material availability and coordinate with the stores team to avoid production delays.
• Follow SOPs and company quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations on the shop floor.
• Identify production issues and support corrective and preventive actions.
• Minimize production downtime, waste, and rework through continuous process improvement.
• Assist in implementing Lean Manufacturing and 5S practices.
• Support inventory control and production planning activities.
• Coordinate machine maintenance schedules with the maintenance team.
• Meet daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
• Prepare production performance reports and present updates to management.
