Job summary

Alimentosx is seeking a Production Planning professional to oversee daily and weekly production schedules in our Gujarat plant. You will ensure raw materials, packaging, manpower, and machines are available to meet customer orders, and coordinate across departments to keep production on track.

You will monitor daily output, push for on-time targets, and drive efficiency by reducing wastage and downtime while maintaining SOP alignment and quality standards.

• Coordinate with Stores/Purchase for timely availability of RM.
• Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage.
• Maintain proper production and material records.
• Monitor machine performance and report breakdowns.
• Coordinate with maintenance for machine availability.
• Maintain daily production reports, batch records and data.
• Prepare reports on production quantity, efficiency, rejection, wastage and downtime.
• Update management regarding production status and issues.
• Monitor costs and work to reduce wastage and downtime.

Machine & Maintenance Coordination

• Monitor machine performance during production.
• Report breakdowns and coordinate with the maintenance team.
• Ensure machines are available and fit for production.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily production reports, batch records, and production data.
• Prepare reports on production quantity, efficiency, rejection, wastage, and downtime.
• Update management regarding production status and issues

Cost & Waste Control

• Monitor material usage and production costs.
• Reduce wastage, rejection, rework, and unnecessary downtime.
• Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure workers follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Maintain a clean and safe production environment.
• Ensure compliance with applicable manufacturing and workplace standards.

• - Quality and Safety compliance: Ensure that the products meet the relevant safety and quality
• parameters set by the company
• - Operational management: Manage the downtime, shifting time, material wastage etc
• Store: Manage RM, PM and FG storage
• - QC: Manage QC along with production, both, chemical as well as instrument room
• - Records: Maintain all production records like BMR, raw material logs, yield reports and any other records required for audit purposes.
• Team supervision: Supervising the factory workers on operations, machine handling, safety.
