You will coordinate with Marketing, Purchase, and QA, manage material and capacity planning, and drive CGPS-compliant operations.

The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, on-time delivery, and continuous improvement within the manufacturing environment in Nashik district, India.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan production line start to end to ensure uninterrupted supply
• Coordinate with Stores, Purchase and Marketing to align with schedules
• Ensure material availability and capacity planning for on-time delivery
• Monitor CGPS norms and quality parameters; support inspection coordination
• Lead cross-functional meetings and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Role & responsibilities

• Cross-functional team meeting with Marketing & Purchase to decide product manufacturing priority plan in line with divisional sales plan, customer inspection dates, and current raw material availability. Meeting may be reorganized in case of any change in plan.
• Daily review of production planning in line with priorities and material availability.
• Goal setting & appraisal discussion with Production Head.
• Monthly safety review.
• Monthly review of CGPS activity.

Job Purpose

Effectively planning cost-effective, reliable, and uninterrupted production supply to achieve divisional financial targets in line with safety, quality, and CGPS norms within the stipulated time frame.

Key Accountabilities

Customer

Effective man, machine, and material planning and coordination with purchase and marketing teams to ensure product supply in line with customer inspection dates. Also, coordination with RQA, IPQA, and FQA departments for smooth inspection of product.

Finance

To ensure daily production as per CGPS norms to achieve monthly targeted sales of the division through effective manpower allocation, proper material and capacity planning, and cross-functional team coordination.

Inventory Control

To ensure production plan quantity with matching material at end-to-end operation stages. Micro-level activity planning of all stages for smooth working. Input for long lead material planning.

Process

To ensure production in line with quality norms, Cpk monitoring of critical parameters, and low rejection level in CTQ workstations. Also, to act immediately on-site complaint issues and TBR.

Organize

To plan effectively and manage production line start to end to ensure optimum, cost-effective, reliable, and uninterrupted production supply to achieve divisional financial targets in line with safety, quality, and CGPS norms within stipulated time frame.

Key Interactions

Internal

Stores: Raw material issue on a daily basis to shop floor is done through stores or inventory management department.

Purchase: Communication regarding RM supply in time or advance stocking of high lead time items for smooth production. Also discussing vendor-related issues like quality and reliability.

RQA: Ensures 0% defective material going inside shop floor. Any discrepancy is immediately communicated to RQA.

Labour Contractor: Monthly labour requirement for low skill works communicated in advance.

IPQA: Stage-wise product quality inspection or testing schedule communicated to this department.

FQA: Final product inspection or testing schedule intimated to this department for smooth product dispatch.

Marketing: Communication regarding crucial customer inspection dates and non-standard features of the product.

Design: Issue of Technical Instruction which is critical to any production task is frequently communicated.

External

Vendor: Discussion of quality-related issues.

Agencies & consultants: ISO audits organized by external parties like BVQI.
