Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering is required.

• Hands-on experience in mechanical assembly and shop-floor production.
• Knowledge of fabrication, machining, sheet metal, and electromechanical integration.

• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Execute production and assembly activities per plans and delivery schedules.
• Implement and improve manufacturing processes, workflows, jigs, fixtures, and tools.
• Prepare SOPs, work instructions, and production records.
• Coordinate with stores, supply chain, quality, engineering, and vendors.
• Track production, material availability, quality issues, manpower, delays, and timelines.
• Support scheduling, capacity planning, and improve assembly efficiency and cycle time.
• Ensure quality, safety, 5S, and shop-floor processes.
• Participate in root cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain production MIS, reports, and KPI data.
• Support new product introduction and engineering changes.
• Manage BOM integrity and component availability.
• Support inventory and safety stock planning for critical components.

We are looking for a Production Engineer with 6 to 8 years of experience in manufacturing/production, preferably from SPM (Special Purpose Machine) or machine-building companies. The candidate will be responsible for production and assembly operations, process implementation, production planning, quality adherence, vendor coordination, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute production and mechanical assembly activities as per production plans and delivery schedules.
• Implement and improve manufacturing processes, assembly workflows, workstations, jigs, fixtures, and tools.
• Prepare and maintain SOPs, work instructions, assembly procedures, and production records.
• Coordinate with stores, supply chain, quality, engineering teams, and vendors for smooth production.
• Track daily production, material availability, quality issues, manpower, delays, and delivery timelines.
• Support production scheduling, capacity planning, and improvement of assembly efficiency and cycle time.
• Ensure adherence to quality, safety, 5S, and shop-floor processes.
• Participate in root cause analysis, CAPA, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
