Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the mechanical assembly team for SPMs and automation equipment.
• Plan, allocate, and monitor daily assembly activities to meet production schedules.
• Ensure adherence to assembly drawings, mechanical fitting standards, and tolerances.
• Coordinate with design, machining, and electrical teams for smooth assembly and integration.
• Conduct quality checks and ensure machines meet functional and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues during assembly and trials.
• Train and mentor technicians/workers on assembly practices and safety procedures.
• Maintain documentation of assembly processes, test reports, and rework records.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in assembly methods and productivity.
• Ensure workplace discipline, 5S, and adherence to safety norms.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of mechanical assembly, hydraulics, pneumatics, and precision fitting.
