The production engineer will oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient use of resources, timely delivery of products, and adherence to quality standards. The role requires a practical, multi-skilled individual capable of managing manpower, machines, and materials in a dynamic small‑scale setup.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare daily/weekly production schedules based on orders and inventory.
• Allocate manpower and machines to meet targets efficiently.
• Process Optimization
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement low‑cost improvements.
  • Minimize waste and downtime through lean practices.
• Quality Assurance
  • Monitor in‑process and final product quality.
  • Coordinate with Design/QC team to resolve defects and maintain standards.
  • Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed.
  • Troubleshoot minor breakdowns and coordinate repairs.
• Inventory & Material Control
  • Track raw material usage and reorder levels.
  • Coordinate with stores and vendors for timely supply.
  • Maintain production logs, rejection reports, and maintenance records.
  • Ensure safety and statutory compliance (e.g., ISO 9001:2015 standards, pollution, labor laws).
  • Train and supervise operators and technicians.
  • Foster a culture of discipline, safety, and productivity.
