Mantras2Success Consultants in Sanand, Gujarat is seeking a Production Engineer to oversee fabrication operations, plan shifts, and ensure on-time delivery. The role involves coordinating with Purchase, Design and Sales and leveraging experience in SS/MS/CS fabrication and heavy engineering.

Responsibilities include ensuring material and resource availability, updating drawings, SAP entries, and maintaining 5S on the shop floor, with a focus on achieving OTD targets across three shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: B.Tech/B.E. or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Basic SAP knowledge is required.
• Proficient English communication.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Experience: 4–5 years for B.Tech/B.E.; 6–7 years for Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Ensure shift running as per plan and make shift schedules.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Design and Sales as needed.
• Ensure availability of material, manpower, machines and resources per shift.
• Ensure OTD (On-Time Delivery) of jobs and update drawings and consumable plan.
• Data collection, analysis and NCR – RCA and prevention.
• Shop Floor 5S implementation and maintenance.
• SAP entries and related documentation.
• Leave management and manpower adjustments.

Job Summary

• Having Knowledge of SS/MS/CS Fabrication, Sheet Metal Fabrication.
• Background with Heavy Engineering / Pressure Vessels Manufacturing added advantage.
• Ensure shift running as per plan.
• Make plan with Foreman for three shifts.
• Ensure availability of material and other resources.
• Co-ordination with Purchase, Design, Sales if required.
• Ensure OTD (On-Time Delivery) of jobs.
• Ensure shift timings.
• Making shift schedule.
• Ensure updated drawings and consumable plan.
• Ensure availability of manpower, machines and other resources as per shift requirements.
• Data collection and analysis.
• NCR – RCA and prevention.
• Shop Floor 5S implementation and maintenance.
• Workmen leave management and manpower adjustments.
• SAP entries and related documentation.

Requirements

• Basic SAP Knowledge.
• Ability to communicate in English.

Qualifications

Essential

Preferred

• Working in SAP environment will be an added advantage.
