The ideal candidate will manage SAP PP/MM, MRP, BOMs, and MIS reporting while coordinating with stores, quality, and dispatch teams to streamline operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage production plans based on orders and forecast.
• Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
• Handle MRP and liaise with purchasing.
• Monitor progress to meet delivery timelines.
• Plan capacity and machine loading for sheet metal processes.
• Maintain BOM, routing, and SAP data.
• Generate MIS reports on production, dispatch, and inventory.
• Coordinate with stores, quality and dispatch teams.
• Monitor WIP and inventory levels to minimize excess stock.
• Support SAP PP/MM implementation.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Planning Executive with strong exposure to production planning and SAP in the sheet metal fabrication industry. The candidate will be responsible for effective production scheduling, material planning, and coordination between departments to ensure timely delivery and optimum resource utilization.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage production plans based on customer orders and forecast.
• Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
• Material Requirement Planning (MRP) and coordination with the purchase department.
• Monitor production progress and ensure adherence to delivery timelines.
• Capacity planning and machine loading for sheet metal processes (Laser Cutting, Bending, Welding, Powder Coating, etc.).
• Maintain BOM, routing, and production data in SAP.
• Generate MIS reports related to production, dispatch, and inventory.
• Coordinate with stores, quality, and dispatch teams for smooth operations.
• Monitor WIP and inventory levels to minimize excess stock.
• Ensure effective implementation of SAP (PP/MM module preferred).

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Sheet Metal Fabrication processes.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Production Planning.
• Hands-on experience in SAP (PP/MM module).
