Job summary

JobItUs in Sanand is seeking a Production Engineer to oversee shift operations in our heavy engineering facility and ensure on-time production.

The role requires a B.Tech/B.E. or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, 4–7 years experience, basic SAP skills, and proficiency in English and MS Office; experience with SAP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Basic SAP knowledge is required.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word is preferred.
• SAP environment experience is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure shift runs as per plan and create shift plans with Foreman for three shifts.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Design and Sales as needed to ensure material availability.
• Ensure On-Time Delivery (OTD) of jobs and maintain updated drawings and consumable plans.
• Manage manpower, machines and resources per shift; monitor capacity and utilization.
• Record data, perform RCA for NCRs, and implement 5S on the shop floor.
• Handle leave management and adjustments; ensure SAP entries and documentation.

Job Summary

• Having Knowledge of SS/MS/CS Fabrication, Sheet Metal Fabrication.
• Background with Heavy Engineering / Pressure Vessels Manufacturing added advantage.
• Ensure shift running as per plan.
• Make plan with Foreman for three shifts.
• Ensure availability of material and other resources.
• Co-ordination with Purchase, Design, Sales if required.
• Ensure OTD (On-Time Delivery) of jobs.
• Ensure shift timings.
• Making shift schedule.
• Ensure updated drawings and consumable plan.
• Ensure availability of manpower, machines and other resources as per shift requirements.
• Data collection and analysis.
• NCR – RCA and prevention.
• Shop Floor 5S implementation and maintenance.
• Workmen leave management and manpower adjustments.
• SAP entries and related documentation.

Requirements

• Basic SAP Knowledge.
• Ability to communicate in English.

Qualifications

Essential

• B.Tech / B.E. / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Preferred

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
• Working in SAP environment will be an added advantage.

Experience

• 4–5 Years for B.Tech / B.E.
• 6–7 Years for Diploma.
