Job summary

White Force Outsourcing Services in India’s Gujarat region is seeking a capable production supervisor for sheet metal manufacturing. You will plan and monitor daily production, supervise laser cutting, CNC punching, bending, welding, and assembly, and ensure targets are achieved with optimal machine utilization.

You will interpret drawings, coordinate with design, planning, stores and quality teams, implement Lean, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement, and prepare daily reports on production,

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor daily sheet metal production activities.
• Supervise fabrication processes including laser cutting, CNC punching, bending, shearing, welding, grinding, and assembly.
• Ensure production targets are achieved with optimum machine utilization.
• Prepare and execute production plans based on customer orders.
• Interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications.
• Coordinate with design, planning, stores, and quality departments.
• Monitor production efficiency, rejection, rework, and material utilization.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed for fabrication equipment.
• Maintain compliance with quality standards, SOPs, and safety regulations.
• Analyze production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Train shop-floor operators on work instructions and best manufacturing practices.
• Prepare daily production, downtime, rejection, and productivity reports.
