Job summary

Gideon Automotive Industries seeks a qualified professional to assist the production head in planning production schedules, allocating manpower, and assessing capacity. The role includes TPM support, maintaining IATF/ISO quality docs, and keeping 5S on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning production schedules and manpower allocation in automotive/auto ancillary sectors.
• Proficient in maintaining IATF/ISO quality management documentation and shop floor 5S.
• Good communication skills, able to work independently with minimal direction.
• Knowledge of TPM activities and root-cause analysis for quality issues.
• Experience with non-conforming parts tracking and reporting to QA.
• Comfortable using MS Office for reporting and data tracking.

Responsibilities

• Assist the production head in planning the production schedule.

Job description

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist the production head in planning the production schedule.
• Support the production head in manpower allocation and capacity assessment.
• Evaluating and taking necessary measures to improve the skill level of operators.
• Support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities.
• Maintaining all the mandatory IATF Documents with respect to Production & Maintenance.
• Maintaining 5S in the shop floor
• Tracking the production plan vs actual.
• Strong understanding of SOP, Work instruction, Kaizen, Line quality, Continual Improvement, 8D Corrective action.
• Non - conforming/Defective part/Rejection tracking and its root cause analysis
• Knowledge on rework, scrap, identification/segregation/reporting of non conforming parts to Quality Department.
• Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance schedules, breakdown reports and machine & tool history card.
• Monitoring Overall equipment effectiveness and reporting abnormalities.

Basic Requirements:

• Education: Diploma / B.E (Mechanical/Automobile/Mechatronics/Production engineering)
• Work Experience: Minimum 3+ years in automobile industry/auto ancillary sector.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good proficiency & hands on experience in using MS Office applications.
• Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily directions from manager to accomplish the tasks.
• Share and collaborate effectively with others, create a positive team spirit
