Job summary

Metalman Auto in Dharuhera invites experienced production professionals to lead and optimize daily manufacturing workflows on sheet metal fabrication lines, welding, bending, cutting, and assembly.

You will monitor productivity, ensure adherence to drawings, SOPs, safety, and quality standards, and drive improvements through 5S, Kaizen, and TPM initiatives.

Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, PPC, and Stores to minimize downtime and maintain accurate production records.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor daily production as per production targets and schedules.
• Manage sheet metal fabrication, welding, bending, cutting, and assembly processes.
• Ensure smooth operation of welding machines, fixtures, presses, and fabrication equipment.
• Monitor productivity, manpower, material utilization, and machine efficiency.
• Reduce rejection, rework, and production downtime through effective problem-solving.
• Ensure products are manufactured as per drawings, SOPs, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, PPC, and Stores for smooth production.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues.
• Maintain production records, daily reports, and process documentation.
• Implement 5S, Kaizen, TPM, and continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and work instructions in the shop floor.
