Job summary

Lakshmigraha Enterprises is seeking a production-focused professional to drive planning, scheduling, and continuous improvement across the manufacturing floor. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize resources and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining quality standards.

You will monitor OEE on a daily basis, initiate corrective actions to improve equipment availability, and collaborate with HR for workforce deployment.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

1. Production Planning

• Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and on time delivery.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal resource utilization and minimal downtime.

2. Production (Assembly & Inspection)

• Oversee the assembly line and inspection activities to ensure product conformity and operational efficiency.
• Monitor daily production outputs and address deviations from standard procedures.
• To monitor OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) on daily basis and initiate actions to achieve and exceed 85% and above consistently.

3.Quality Management System:

• To ensure all activities of Production and quality functions are strictly in compliance with IATF requirements.
• To monitor Key performance Indicators of both production and quality functions on quarterly basis and to take corrective action.
• To interact with personnel of production and quality function at regular Intervals to highlight the importance of product quality and customer expectation and motivate them towards better performance and commitment.

4. Machine Maintenance:

• Plan and oversee preventive maintenance schedules for all machinery and equipment.
• To Continuously monitor breakdowns and take corrective actions to improve machine availability increase MTBF and also to reduce MTTR by training of Personnel and maintaining minimum stock of essential spares.
• To drive and implement total productive maintenance (TPM) initiatives to minimize minor stoppages.

5. Customer satisfaction:

• Customer specific requirements are documented, communicated and complied with to their satisfaction.
• Customer complaints and quality issues are promptly responded and resolved to the full satisfaction of submission of 8D Report.
• Corrective and preventive actions taken are reviewed periodically to avoid recurrence.

6. Continual Development:

• To initiate and nurture continuous improvement (KAIZEN) and to 8 cultures in the organization, through education and motivation and employee participation.
• Continually improve the process and product quality to reduce wastage of all inputs and improve productivity and employee safety.

7. Packing and dispatch:

• To Ensure on time dispatches and adequately strong packing to ensure safe delivery at customer site.
• To ensure maintenance of documents for traceability of Products delivered.
• To monitor and ensure adequate stock of all packing materials.

8. Welfare & Performance Monitoring:

• Monitor employee performance and promote welfare activities to improve engagement and retention.
• Conduct regular feedback sessions to resolve shop floor problems and to seek their participation in developments/ Changes.

9. Manpower Planning

• Assess and forecast manpower requirements in line with production needs.
• Collaborate with HR for recruitment and deployment of skilled workforce.

10. Skill Mapping & Maintenance

• Identify skill gaps and training needs through systematic skill mapping.
• Collaborate with HR to organize training programs to ensure competency development and career growth
