Job summary

Addverb Technologies in Greater Noida is seeking a seasoned Production Manager to lead end-to-end assembly operations, focusing on PQCDSM targets, quality compliance, safety and cost optimization. You will drive planning, uptime, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires expertise in ERP (SAP), production planning, RCA, and ISO processes, with responsibility for staffing and cross-functional collaboration across SCM, Design, ME, and Purchasing.

Qualifications

• B.Tech in Electrical, Mechatronics or Mechanical engineering.
• 9–12 years of experience, preferably from automation industries.
• Experience with production assembly environments and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage daily production, materials and manpower for on-time output.
• Coordinate with SCM and Design to resolve issues with materials and drawings.
• Monitor progress and take corrective actions to meet targets.

Purpose of the role

To lead end-to-end production assembly operations and ensure achievement of daily and monthly PQCDSM targets. The role focuses on production planning, quality compliance, safety, cost optimization, equipment uptime, and continuous improvement to enhance operational efficiency and on-time delivery.

Technical Skills Required

• Strong understanding of manufacturing assembly processes, proficiency in ERP (SAP), production planning, internal department manpower planning & resource deployment
• Knowledge of PQCDSM metrics, OTIF, line balancing, capacity utilization
• Expertise in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), quality tools, FTR improvement, defect reduction
• Familiarity with TPM, TQM, Lean tools, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience in handling NPD, prototyping, and manufacturability improvements.
• Understanding of preventive maintenance, breakdown analysis, and equipment upkeep.
• ISO standards documentation and compliance awareness.
• Knowledge of MS Office

Job Responsibilities

1. Manage production plans, materials, and manpower to ensure smooth daily operations and timely output
2. Coordinate with SCM and Design teams to resolve material and drawing issues.
3. Monitor production progress and take corrective actions to meet targets timeline.
4. Review key metrics related to productivity, quality, 5S, Kaizens, cost, safety, morale, capacity utilization etc; provide guidance team on improving performance
5. Identify performance gaps analysis and finalize action plans for improvement.
6. Ensure timely reporting and inventory reviews.
7. Ensure self-inspection and self-certification of parts produced / assembled by the team
8. Ensure quality checks, inspections, and defect analysis. Focus on 100% implementation first part inspection process.
9. Drive RCA and corrective actions to improve processes. Promote Kaizen and support continuous improvement activities.
10. Educate & train team members on ISO standard requirements, respective processes, documents and records
11. Ensure adequate documentation in-line with ISO standard requirements
12. Participate in internal and external audits
13. Conduct toolbox talks at the beginning of the shift, encourage line leaders & supervisors to do the same.
14. Ensure proper usage of PPEs by all team members (including contractual staff).
15. Participate (& contribute) in meetings with Design, ME, Purchase & SCM regarding new product development Understand challenges in production of new parts and seek resolution through design / process change
16. Drive skill development, feedback, engagement, and grievance resolution.
17. Encourage team participation in kaizens, quality circles, and recognition initiatives.
18. Transform department goals into individual goals and communicate expectations to team members, provide clarity on the importance of their role to departmental/organizational goals

Minimum Qualification
