Cogent Data Solutions is seeking a Procurement Manager to oversee sourcing, vendor management, negotiations, POs and EXIM operations at the Hyderabad location.

The role covers domestic and international procurement, supplier development, and coordination with freight forwarders, CHA brokers and finance teams. Immediate/joint joining preferred.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in Procurement, Purchase or EXIM.
• Vendor management and sourcing expertise.
• Knowledge of Import/Export, Incoterms, and shipping docs.
• Strong negotiation and cost management skills.
• Experience with PO management and international suppliers.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage domestic and international procurement activities.
• Identify and develop domestic & international suppliers.
• Source materials, obtain quotations and negotiate price, payment and delivery terms.
• Prepare and manage Purchase Orders (POs) and procurement documents.
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, CHA/customs brokers and finance teams.
• Handle import/export documentation including invoices, packing lists, BL/AWB and certificates.
• Track POs, shipments, deliveries and material availability.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve quality, delivery and commercial issues.
• Maintain vendor records, procurement reports and MIS.
