Job summary

SVKM Central Office is seeking a procurement professional with 5–7 years of experience in construction and interior fit-out procurement. You will handle vendor invites, quote comparisons, and PI/approval processes, then execute PR/PO in SAP after PI clearance.

You will manage PO sign-off, vendor follow-ups, Indent Tracker maintenance, and vendor registration, with additional tasks assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

• Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering preferred.
• Diploma in Procurement programs preferred.
• Hands-on experience on SAP -PS Module preferred.

Responsibilities

• Invite quotes from vendors/contractors as per the indent and submit comparisons to the Director of Project Implementation & Monitoring Office (PIMO).
• If a rate contract exists, PI will be invited from vendors/contractors and submitted to the Director (PIMO) for approval after checking the rates.
• Process PR and PO in SAP after PI approval; obtain PO sign-off from authorities; send PO to vendor/contractor and follow-up for material delivery on site.
• Maintain an Indent Tracker till delivery of material and update Director (PIMO) regularly on indent status.
• Process the Advances as per PO terms.
• Register new Vendors/contractors as per SVKM procedures.
• Any other work given by Superiors from time to time.
• Get replacement from vendor for rejected material.

• If there is a rate contract. Then PI will be invited from the vendors/contractors, as per the indent and will be submitted to Director (PIMO) for approval after checking the rates.
• Once the PI is approved, then PR and PO processing will be done in SAP.
• To get the PO signed from authorities.
• Once the PO is signed, it has to be sent to vendor/contractor, then follow-up for material delivery on site.
• Should maintain an Indent Tracker till delivery of material and update Director (PIMO) on regular intervals regarding the status of indents.
• Processing the Advances, if any as per the PO terms.
• Registration of new Vendors/contractors as per the procedure laid down by SVKM.
• Any other work given by Superiors from time to time.
• To get replacement from vendor for rejected material.
