Job summary

SVKM Central Office is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for Mumbai. The role requires a BE in Mechanical Engineering and 5–7 years of hands-on experience with MEP services, especially HVAC on construction sites.

You will assist the Project Implementation & Monitoring Office in reviewing designs, tenders, and BOQs and coordinate with PMCs and interior teams. Responsibilities include reviewing layouts, co-ordinating BOQs, obtaining quotations, negotiating with QS, and site visits when required.

Qualifications

• B.E. – Mechanical Engineering from reputed institute.
• 5-7 years’ experience in execution of MEP services, especially HVAC installations on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist PIMO in reviewing designs, tenders and BOQs related to Mechanical, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, etc.
• Review RC P Layouts submitted by MEP Consultant and Interior Designer.
• Coordinate Mechanical related BOQs and liaise with Quantity Surveyor for negotiations.
• Visit sites to review work in progress when required and perform other tasks assigned by PIMO.

Experience: 5-7 years’ experience in execution of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) services especially HVAC service installation on various construction sites preferred. Knowledge of working with Project Management Consultants (PMC) preferred.

Job Description: Assisting PIMO (Project Implementation & Monitoring Office) in reviewing the Designs/Tenders/BOQs (submitted by MEP Consultant) related to Mechanical, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, etc. Reviewing the RCP Layout submitted by MEP Consultant and Interior Designer. Co-ordinating Mechanical related BOQs. To get the quotations and co-ordination with Quantity Surveyor for further negotiations. Whenever required, visiting the sites to review the work in progress. Any other work assigned by PIMO from time to time.
