Job summary

Samridhi seeks a Contract Specialist with strong exposure to high-voltage transmission projects and BOP packages. You will review technical specifications, standards compliance, and SAP purchase requisitions to support bid invitations.

You will engage with vendors, clarify scope, and issue corrigenda as needed, while evaluating bids against technical criteria and managing contract risks. Final negotiations on costs and terms will be conducted with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Understanding of high-voltage transmission lines (66kV–400kV) and related BOP packages.
• Review compliance with CTU/STU/PGCIL standards and SAP PR inputs.
• Experience in bid evaluation and contract risk management.

Responsibilities

• Review technical specs and bid requirements for bid invitations.
• Meet vendors to clarify scope and issue corrigendum if needed.
• Evaluate bids per technical qualifications and negotiate terms.
• Prepare contract summaries and report on risks to Manager.
• Provide guidance on dispute resolution and final cost/terms negotiation.

Role & responsibilities

• Good understanding of high-voltage transmission lines (66kV to 400kV), GIS, Transformer and other electrical BOP packages.
• Review compliance with technical specifications (CTU / STU / PGCIL standards)
• Review of PR generated in SAP (Purchase Requestion) with all required input to proceed for the bid invitation including all technical requirement and commercial SCC & GCC.
• Meetings with the vendor to clarify the scope/TOR and issue a corrigendum (if necessary)
• Evaluation bid as per technical qualification criteria
• Understanding of contract terms, risk management basics and compliance requirements.
• Prepare summaries and circulate key contractual clauses to relevant teams.
• Able to handle negotiation on Key contractual clauses.
• Prepare reports on contract status, risks for review with Manager.
• Provide expert guidance on dispute resolution, ensuring timely and effective resolution of contractual disagreements.
• Final negotiation of cost and terms and conditions of contract
