Job summary

Techno Power Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a proactive Manager – Purchase with 5–6 years of hands-on experience in Power Distribution & Transmission Line Projects (220kV/132kV/33kV/11kV). You will oversee end-to-end procurement, evaluate vendors based on GTP, and ensure timely delivery with cost optimization.

Ideal candidates will review BOQ and SLD drawings, coordinate with Engineering, Projects and Finance, and maintain rigorous documentation to meet client requirements.

Qualifications

• B.E / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (Mandatory).
• 5–6 years hands-on experience in Power Distribution & Transmission Line Projects (220kV / 132kV / 33kV / 11kV).
• Strong understanding of GTP documentation and interpretation of SLD drawings for procurement.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities for Transmission & Distribution (T&D) projects.
• Technical evaluation of vendors based on GTP, specifications, and tender documents.
• Review and verify BOQ, technical specifications, and SLD drawings before procurement.
• Procurement of transmission line materials including: Conductors, Insulators, Towers, Hardware fittings, Earth wire.
• Procurement of substation equipment including: Power Transformers, CT/PT, Isolators, Circuit Breakers, Control & Relay Panels.
• Preparation of comparative statements (Techno-Commercial evaluation).
• Vendor negotiation, finalization of orders, and contract execution.
• Vendor development and performance monitoring.
• Ensure cost optimization and timely delivery aligned with project schedules.
• Coordination with Engineering, Projects, and Finance departments.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with client/project requirements.

Job Summary:

The candidate must have strong technical understanding of GTP (Guaranteed Technical Particulars) of electrical materials, Substation equipment, and interpretation of SLD (Single Line Diagram) drawings to ensure accurate and timely procurement.
