Adani is seeking a senior Electrical Engineer to lead planning, design, execution and commissioning of EHV/HV transmission lines (33kV and above) linked to renewable energy projects in India. You will coordinate the end-to-end project lifecycle of pooling sub-stations and transmission line surveys, tower spotting, foundations, erection, and commissioning.

You will manage materials at site, liaise with DISCOMs, CTU, and regulators for grid connectivity, ensure compliance with CEA and IS

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Electrical Engineering.
• 12–15 years of experience in PSS and transmission line projects.
• Experience in utility-scale solar or wind evacuation projects.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsabilités

• Lead planning, design, execution, and commissioning of EHV/HV transmission lines (33kV and above) for renewable energy projects.
• Coordinate end-to-end project lifecycle of Pooling Sub-station.
• Coordinate end-to-end project life cycle of Transmission Line - route survey, tower spotting, foundation works, erection, stringing, sagging, and commissioning.
• Responsible for availability of materials at site as per the delivery schedule.
• Coordinate with state utilities (DISCOMs, STU), CTU, and regulatory bodies for grid connectivity, approvals, and charging.
• Ensure compliance with CEA, IS standards, safety norms, and statutory regulations throughout project execution.
• Oversee ROW management, land coordination, local authority liaison, and contractor interfaces to mitigate execution risks.
• Monitor project schedules, cost controls, BOQs, DPRs, and ensure adherence to approved budgets and timelines.
• Lead contractor and vendor management, including technical evaluation, billing certification, and performance monitoring.
• Support PTL/DTL testing, energization, protection coordination, and integration with substations/switchyards.
• Identify and mitigate technical, safety, and execution risks proactively.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, progress reports, MIS, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and site teams.

Qualifications

• B.E. / B.Tech – Electrical Engineering
• 12–15 years of relevant experience in PSS and transmission line projects, preferably in renewable energy / power infrastructure.
• Experience in handling utility-scale solar or wind evacuation projects.
• Strong communication, coordination, and leadership capabilities.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
