Job summary

Xpressbees is seeking a Process Excellence professional to drive operational improvement across our 3PL network in Pune. The role requires shaping scalable processes, standardizing SOPs, and delivering cost and productivity gains while enhancing customer experience.

You will collaborate with Operations, Business Finance, Technology, Product and Analytics to analyze challenges, design solutions and implement data-driven improvements that scale across locations.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in Process Excellence or related fields.
• Strong understanding of 3PL, logistics and supply chain operations.
• Advanced Excel; SQL/Python/BI tools a plus.
• Lean/Six Sigma or Kaizen exposure preferred.
• Strong PM skills and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing 3PL processes across warehousing, transportation and supply chain operations to identify gaps, bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
• Design and implement new processes, operating models and SOPs to meet evolving business requirements.
• Drive initiatives around cost optimization, productivity improvement, resource utilization and operational efficiency.
• Evaluate utilization of manpower, vehicles, warehouse space and fixed assets.
• Identify opportunities for route optimization, capacity planning, network optimization and process redesign.
• Use data to identify root causes and develop data-driven solutions to improve cost, productivity, SLA adherence, and customer experience.
• Develop and institutionalize SOPs, process documents, dashboards and performance mechanisms to standardize operations across locations.
• Build business cases and evaluate impact of changes from operational and financial perspectives.
• Identify recurring issues and develop preventive mechanisms instead of short-term fixes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the 3PL network and track impact against KPIs.
• Build implementation roadmaps aligned with targets.

About the Role - Process Excellence 3PL

We are looking for a Process Excellence professional to drive operational improvement, process standardization and cost optimization across our 3PL operations.

The role will focus on understanding operational challenges, identifying improvement opportunities, designing scalable processes and driving cross-functional projects to improve cost, productivity, service levels and customer experience.

You will work closely with Operations, Business Finance, Technology, Product and Analytics teams to solve complex operational problems and build solutions that can be scaled across locations.

What You Will Do:

• Analyze existing 3PL processes across warehousing, transportation and supply chain operations to identify gaps, bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
• Design and implement new processes, operating models and SOPs to meet evolving business requirements.
• Drive initiatives around cost optimization, productivity improvement, resource utilization and operational efficiency.
• Evaluate utilization of key operational resources including manpower, vehicles, warehouse space and fixed assets.
• Identify opportunities for route optimization, capacity planning, network optimization and process redesign.
• Use operational and business data to identify root causes and develop data-driven solutions to improve key metrics such as cost, TAT, productivity, SLA adherence, breaches and customer experience.
• Develop and institutionalize SOPs, process documents, dashboards and performance mechanisms to standardize operations across locations.
• Build business cases and evaluate the impact of proposed process changes from both operational and financial perspectives.
• Identify recurring operational issues and develop preventive mechanisms rather than relying on short-term fixes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the 3PL network and track their impact against defined KPIs.
• Build implementation roadmaps and action plans aligned with business and annual operating plan (AOP) targets.

What You will Need -

• 5-8 years of experience in Process Excellence, Operational Excellence, Supply Chain, 3PL, Logistics, Consulting or Operations Strategy.
• Strong understanding of 3PL, logistics and supply chain operations, preferably across transportation and/or warehousing.
• Good understanding of process improvement, capacity planning, network planning, route optimization and resource optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert data into actionable business solutions.
• Advanced Excel skills are a must; exposure to SQL, Python, Power BI/Tableau or other analytics tools will be an added advantage.
• Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen or other continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to independently drive initiatives from problem definition to implementation.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and influence teams without direct authority.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where priorities can change quickly.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex operational problems for business stakeholders.
• Self-driven, structured and comfortable taking end-to-end ownership of projects.
