Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Operational Excellence leader to drive adoption of Lean and continuous improvement across supply chain, logistics, and manufacturing operations. You will coach leaders, run improvement programs, and embed standardized governance using visual management and data-driven practices.

The role demands 8+ years in operations/continuous improvement, certification in Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and experience sustaining performance systems with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in deploying and sustaining OpEx frameworks and performance management systems.
• Coaching leaders and frontline teams in structured improvement methodologies.
• Exposure to logistics, warehousing, transportation, or integrated supply chain operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive deployment, adoption, and governance of OpEx tools and methodologies (Visual Management, SQC, A3, Kaizen, Action Plans).
• Lead implementation, localization, and governance of the Operating System.
• Embed visual management and performance management routines aligned with global standards.
• Coach leaders and frontline teams on OpEx principles, standard work, and performance management practices.
• Program manage improvement initiatives, ensuring actions are delivered and sustained benefits realized.
• Identify capability gaps and develop targeted interventions.
• Partner with business leaders to embed OpEx, accountability, and data-driven decision making.
• Monitor adoption, compliance, and effectiveness of tools and governance mechanisms.
• Recommend and implement corrective actions.
• Leverage technology and analytics to improve OpEx deployment and business performance.
• Act as a trusted coach and change agent for leaders and teams.

Job description

• Recommend and implement corrective actions
• Leverage technology, automation, analytics, and digital tools to improve Operational Excellence deployment and business performance

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Operations, Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, or Lean in Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, or related disciplines
• Proven experience deploying and sustaining Operational Excellence frameworks and performance management systems
• Experience facilitating improvement initiatives, problem-solving workshops, and cross-functional projects
• Experience coaching leaders and frontline teams in structured improvement methodologies
• Exposure to logistics, warehousing, transportation, or integrated supply chain operations preferred
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred
• Lean Practitioner or Continuous Improvement certification preferred
• Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent) is an advantage

Demonstrates expertise in Operational Excellence methodologies, including Lean and Continuous Improvement, with a strong focus on coaching, program management, and data-driven decision making. Proven ability to implement and sustain performance management systems while partnering with cross-functional teams to drive business performance.
