Team Member - Process Excellence (Supply Chain)

Process Excellence Manager

Position Purpose
  • Drive process improvement across the end-to-end supply chain to increase efficiency and reduce waste. Improve operational efficiency and reduce process lead times.
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify performance gaps and support data-driven decisions. Improve forecast accuracy, reduce stockouts and overstock situations
  • Support implementation of best practices and digital tools in procurement, planning, logistics, and inventory. Increase automation and system utilization, reduce manual errors
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, logistics, production, and finance teams to align on priorities. Enhance on-time delivery performance to above 95%, strengthen internal service level agreements
  • Contribute to cost-saving initiatives through supplier performance improvement and inventory optimization. Deliver annual cost savings of 3-5%, reduce inventory holding costs
  • Participate in strategic projects such as network optimization, sustainability, and digital transformation. Achieve carbon footprint reduction targets and improve supply network resilience
Operational Responsibilities
  • Conduct root cause analysis of supply chain issues using tools like Pareto, 5 Whys, and Fishbone diagrams and resolve systemic bottlenecks and reduce issue recurrence rates.
  • Monitor KPIs and dashboards to track performance in procurement, logistics, planning, and inventory. Ensure key metrics (e.g., OTIF, inventory turns, COGS) meet or exceed targets
  • Lead or support continuous improvement (CI) projects using Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile methodologies. Deliver measurable results through structured CI efforts (e.g., DMAIC)
  • Support data quality and system accuracy in ERP, MRP, and supply chain tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis). Maintain data integrity; improve system-driven decision accuracy.
  • Benchmark internal processes against industry standards and recommend optimization strategies. Align with best-in-class supply chain practices
  • Prepare and present findings to leadership with actionable insights and recommendations. Drive executive decision-making with clear, impactful analysis
  • Collaborate on cross-functional workshops and kaizen events to generate improvement ideas. Engage stakeholders and promote a culture of operational excellence

  • Knowledge in Data modelling and simulation (e.g., using tools like Llamasoft, AnyLogic), Predictive and prescriptive analytics, Demand forecasting and inventory optimization KPI dashboards and visualization (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
