Process Excellence Specialist Lead – r3 Consultant
We are seeking a seasoned Process Excellence Specialist Lead responsible for driving operational excellence, continuous improvement, and process innovation within a shared services environment. This role fosters a culture of collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and efficiency across business functions.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Lean Six Sigma methodologies, be passionate about improving business processes, and possess the ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives. Experience in service‑oriented industries or insurance domains is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Champion a Continuous Improvement (CI) Culture: Lead Kaizen, process standardization, Lean Six Sigma training, and project implementation.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect data, prepare analytical reports, and support data‑driven improvement decisions.
- Change Management: Serve as a change agent; identify inefficiencies and collaborate with delivery teams to eliminate waste and variation.
- Performance Metrics Oversight: Monitor Balanced Scorecards, KPIs, and service level metrics; recommend corrective actions where necessary.
- Training & Development: Design and deliver training modules to improve business process proficiency and excellence.
- Coaching & Mentorship: Guide team leaders and process owners on using Lean tools and methods for future‑state implementation.
- Lead Strategic Initiatives: Execute PEX projects using DMAIC/Lean to drive measurable improvements.
- Project Impact Evaluation: Ensure proper change management and benefit realization across operational sites.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support shared goals and improvement plans.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (any stream); Postgraduate preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma Certification – Green Belt or Black Belt (Mandatory).
- Additional certifications in Project Management (PMP/Prince2) are a plus.
- 8+ years of total industry experience with at least 3 years in process excellence roles.
- Experience with DMAIC/DMADV, internal controls, finance operations, and data visualization.
- Prior exposure to service delivery/insurance domain is a strong advantage.
Key Skills
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Hands‑on experience with tools like Excel (Advanced), PowerPoint, Visio, Minitab, Power BI.
- Strong proficiency in 5S, TPM, and Lean Six Sigma methodology.
- Ability to lead transformation projects and engage cross‑functional teams.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic hybrid environment and flexible shifts.
