Job summary

Thyrocare in Mumbai seeks a Deputy Manager, Process Excellence to lead end-to-end improvements across supply chain and warehousing, driving productivity and cost optimization.

The role combines process design, data analysis and hands-on implementation with close collaboration across Supply Chain, Warehousing, Projects and Operations teams.

Experience in warehouse design, SOPs, KPIs and Lean initiatives is required to deliver scalable infrastructure for expanding warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in SCM, warehousing, or operations excellence.
• Experience in warehouse process improvement / new warehouse setup preferred.
• Candidates from e-commerce, FMCG, retail, 3PL, manufacturing or consulting backgrounds can be considered.

Role Overview - Dy. Manager - Process Excellence

We are looking for a Deputy Manager Supply Chain Process Excellence to drive process improvement, operational excellence and infrastructure development across our supply chain and warehousing operations.

The role will work closely with Supply Chain, Warehousing, Projects, and Operations teams to design scalable processes, improve warehouse productivity, optimize costs and support the development / expansion of warehouse infrastructure.

This is a hands‑on problem‑solving role suited to candidates who can move between process design, data analysis, operational execution and project implementation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement

• Identify operational inefficiencies across warehousing and supply chain processes.
• Design and implement SOPs, process standards, workflows and operating mechanisms.
• Drive Lean / continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct process audits and identify gaps in productivity, quality, cost and service levels.
• Develop and track operational KPIs and improvement plans.
• Use data and root‑cause analysis to solve recurring operational problems.

2. Warehouse Process Design

• Design and optimize processes covering end‑to‑end warehouse operations from Inbound to Dispatch and Returns while managing warehouse productivity
• Evaluate warehouse layouts and material‑flow patterns to improve throughput and utilization.
• Work with WMS / technology teams to translate operational requirements into system processes.
• Implement, handhold and bring desired value

Experience

• -5–10 years of experience in Supply Chain, Warehousing, Logistics, Process Excellence, Operations Excellence or related areas.
• Experience in warehouse process improvement / warehouse design / new warehouse setup is highly preferred.
• Candidates from e-commerce, FMCG, retail, 3PL, logistics, manufacturing or consulting backgrounds can be considered.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end warehouse operations.
• Proven experience in process improvement / operational excellence.
• Good understanding of warehouse layouts, capacity planning and material flow.
• Ability to work with operational data and identify root causes.
• Comfortable working directly with warehouse / ground operations teams.
