Job summary

Indo- Mim in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, is seeking a Jr. Process Engineer (Aerospace) with 3+ years of experience to design, simulate and optimize manufacturing processes, focusing on aerospace casting environments and process validation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of 3D CAD modelling experience with SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA or Siemens NX.
• At least 1 year in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and optimization techniques.
• Ability to interpret simulation results and implement process improvements.
• Effective coordination with cross-functional teams, suppliers and customers.

Responsibilities

Jr. PROCESS ENGINEER - AEROSPACE

CTC: Up to 7.0 LPA

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or any equivalent Engineering discipline.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Process Engineer with expertise in manufacturing processes, process simulation and process optimization to support production and new product development activities. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers and customers to improve product quality, manufacturing efficiency and process reliability, particularly in aerospace and investment casting environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality and cost efficiency.


• Perform process simulations and analysis using Simulation software such as ProCAST.


• Analyse process performance and recommend improvements based on simulation and production data.


• Support new product Development, introduction activities and process validation.


• Coordinate with design, production, quality, suppliers and customers to ensure successful process implementation.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Minimum 2 years of experience in 3D-Modelling using CAD Software such as SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, or Siemens NX.


• Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.


• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, process optimization and problem-solving techniques.


• Ability to interpret simulation results and implement process improvements.


• Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams, suppliers and customers.


• Good analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.


• Proficiency in MS Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Hands-on working experience in analysis and simulation software such as ProCAST, MAGMA, Flow-3D or equivalent casting/process simulation tools.


• Experience in Aerospace components, standards and technical documentation.


• Exposure to Investment Casting processes and manufacturing techniques.


• Knowledge of casting simulations, solidification analysis, Mold filling analysis and process development.


• Familiarity with quality management systems such as ISO 9001 and AS9100.


• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement methodologies will be an added advantage.


• Experience in process validation activities.
