Job summary

Indo- Mim in Tirupati is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join our manufacturing team. You will program and troubleshoot CNC machines, oversee turning, milling, grinding, and drilling, and drive process improvements to boost efficiency while maintaining safety and environmental standards on the shop floor. You will work with machinists and engineers, interpret drawings with GD&T, FMEA, SPC, and use Mastercam CAD/CAM for process design.

Qualifications

• B.Tech Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 4-6 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience with CNC programming and machining processes.
• Knowledge of GD&T, FMEA, control plans, SPC is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and troubleshoot CNC machines using G-code and M-code.
• Operate and oversee turning, milling, grinding, drilling processes.
• Implement corrective actions to address rejections and rework.
• Monitor and achieve departmental performance targets.
• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Resolve process optimization, equipment, and material handling issues.
• Interpret technical drawings and part specifications accurately.
• Apply and maintain quality control methods using GD&T, FMEA, control plans, SPC.
• Select and manage tooling and fixtures for optimal machining.
• Ensure safety and environmental standards on the shop floor.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive measures to minimize hazards.
• Report incidents and accidents promptly; encourage shop floor safety culture.
• Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and cross-functional teams.
• Use CAD/CAM software (Mastercam) for process design and optimization.
